Hi everyone,
Rather than be a small fish in the big sea that is gripboard.com, I decided to post my journal over here with my other training journal.
Background:
I've been working with the COC grippers for several months and have recently switched over to the Ivanko Super Gripper utilizing the hammar sports program (with slight modifications)
http://www.hammarsports.com/training.html#four
I've also recently been interested in nail bending. The past few month I've been sledge levering and just recently bought my first bending stock from Fat Bastard Barbell Company. I've done allright with the first thickness of "nails', but after that, forget it. Today I downloaded Diesel Crew's bending manual and hope to get a lot of use out of it, as it's purported to be the premier primer on bending.
If anyone is wondering what the hell I'm talking about, check out gripboard.com. Some of the best crushers, benders, (playing card) tearers, and (phone book) rippers in the world hang out there, and are happy to answer the questions of newbies like me.
And as I've mentioned before, my current long term goal is to crush a full, unopened beer with one hand. Then eventually, I may try for Phil's raw potato crush.
