Coach,

I am a highschool wrestler and I first starting having problems during the start of the season when one day for no reason at all I noticed my chest was inflamed with pain and a small bump appeared on my chest wall. I went to the doctor and he said it was probably Costochondritis and he told me to ice it and take Ibuprofen and it got better in a few weeks. And it was fine for months until it randomly started killing me again, there was no trauma or injury to it, it just became inflamed with pain randomly. So I went to see a PT and he told me to rest for a month and do no benching or upper body pressing. He told me I have a strength imbalance in my back and he told me to work on my back strength and gave me stretches to do and told me to put heat on it and take Naproxen. It took a long time, but it got better by summer.

I started SS in June because I want to bulk up and put on a lot of strength. I ate A LOT and drank a couple gallons of milk each week and took Whey protein and I was EXTREMELY happy with the results I got through the month of June and first week of July. Then I was away at camps all through July and didn't lift at all. and when I came back I picked up where I left off and after one benching session my chest is completely re-injured and it's giving me a lot of pain, even when I just swing my arms or sneeze. The bump also came back, what would you suggest I do about it? I want to be done with this stupid injury so I can get on with my training but it just keeps coming back.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read all this.
