View Full Version : bodyweight exercises for conditioning?

I'm currently at the intermediate level and thinking of adding some conditioning training on my off days. What's your take on exercises such as pushups and bodyweight squats for conditioning purposes? Would they interfere with my weight training? I train on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. My plan would be a little conditioning (10-15 minutes) on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays). Thanks in advance for your advice.

Have you never read of my advice on this board to do CF-type metcon training? Really, you haven't?

And this would basically give you no rest and you'd be working out 6 days in a row.
