Hey Coach,

You gave me the approval on my 165-ish squat here - http://www.strengthmill.net/forum/showthread.php?t=5688&highlight=squat+check

For the past 3 workouts I have attempted 245 and couldn't get 5x3 because my left shoulder started hurting. I believe it is from the pressure the bar is putting on my back and shoulder when my elbows are up. I know the bar is in the right position, but could this just be a flexibility issue? It is starting to affect my other lifts (specifically bench) because my left shoulder and elbow feel sore for a few hours after squatting heavy.

I am going to drop the weight down a bit because I missed reps in 3 consecutive workouts. I can probably get you a video of my squat closer to the low 200 range early next week. I know for a fact that my form has been off in the 225+ range so hopefully this reset will help.

That being said, I would like to try to solve this problem before squatting again on Monday so that I don't keep hurting my shoulder. I know the description of the pain is pretty vague (sorta feels dislocated but I have complete mobility) but any thoughts you may have would be great.

You're probably dropping your elbows, but I can't tell from here.
