Coach,

I located a local Crossfit affiliate and told them I needed some Coaching. I told them that I felt like my chest was dropping instead of sticking my hips back in the squat so I needed some coaching to get me to do it right.

They sugged that I might want to "look up at the ceiling" and that I should come in for a coaching session.

I declined after this piece of advice.

Will you be coaching the seminar on December 12 and 13? If so, I think I am going to make the drive or fly to Texas and forget about finding someone locally.

I'll be here at my gym coaching the seminar as usual. Plenty of space available, and plenty of free parking.

How are hotels in the area (price wise not "amenities"). Any particular you normally recommend? I'm trying to arrange my schedule to make that seminar as well, just waiting to hear back from Nashville PD on my BLET schedule.

Thanks Coach. I'm going to have to make this one. Is it okay if I bring a video camera to video you coaching me on my errors?

By the way, can you explain what the heck and "extended squat" is and why a football player would do one instead of just squatting? See link below

Things are cheap in The Falls, for good reason. And I've never heard the term "extended squat". I'd guess that the fools were trying to do overhead squats without any idea of how to coach the movement. Typical college/pro level S&C situation.

kziwarrior, and anyone else interested in hotel stuff, PM me. We have a guy at the gym that manages a hotel.

And unless this rule changes, there is no filming during the seminar.
