As long as you're doing as much double overhand deadlifting as you can, it should be enough grip work for now. That said, adding in some static holds on Friday shouldn't affect your workouts much, either.

Assuming that you are suggesting fatigue might effect the programme in a negative manner then there's little to be concerned about.

An olympic barbell doesn't demand enough grip for accessory grip work to have a negative knock on effect and reflectively oly bar training alone isn't an all-round effective way of training it.

With the usual caveat that I don't know a damned thing, what I do know from reading and what matches my experience is that when I can establish a really strong grip on the bar my lifts are better than when I can't. On SS you're holding the bar for everything but squats. I think it follows that if you abuse your grip one day then you ought to expect to lift less the next day. I think that holds true both where grip is an obviously limiting factor -- like with DL -- and where the relationship between grip and 1RM is more complicated. IMO, a beginner -- by definition someone on SS -- ought to err on the side of ignoring grip training so that the main lifts aren't disrupted.
