View Full Version : I don't know if i created a new thread properly.
So I was asking Rip a question and ended up typing a pretty long essay. when I submitted the question it asked me to log in again, which I did and it took me to the Rip Q and A section.
When you create a new thread do you get a confirmation or anything or do I need to resubmit?

Just wait, if it doesn't show up in a few days, then maybe type it out again...

Thanks, I was planning on doing that anyway.
To those of you wondering, it wasn't one of those stupid "my joints are always hurting me, I'm 6' 100lbs and eating a 'clean' 1500 calories per day" posts.

Khal, when you post to the moderated boards (like Rip's Q & A), you should get a confirmation that it took (I forget exactly what it says). If you didn't, it probably didn't go through. The other part of this is that if you take too long in writing what you have to say, it may time out on you--which sounds like what happened to you. Using the "remember me" portion of your log-in may help, I'm not sure. Alternately, if you're writing a long one, or taking a long time to write one, remember to copy it before you submit--in case it has timed out.

I definitely didn't get a confirmation, so I'll jsut resubmit. If it is a duplicate I'm sure Rip will just delete it. Thanks.
