Hi Coach, thanks for answering all these questions and everything else you do for us. It's much appreciated.

Every now and again I manage to strain a part of my upper trap (this time on the right side) to where it's miserable to move my head for a week or so. Does this fall in the category of 'shit happens' or is there something specific you know of that makes one more susceptible to this injury?

My workout was a light day of snatches, front squats, presses, and sit-ups but I felt the twinge during the sit-ups of all things. I have your books, I follow your form, I will listen to you. I am just so sick of having this happen I will do whatever I need to do to prevent it from happening again. Thank you sir.

This is not a trap "strain", per se, but a neck injury, i.e. the cervical spine. It will get better by itself, it will probably recur, and chiropractors are sometimes helpful.
