Coach, I've been in this forum long enough to gain a lot more respect and have decided to buy one of your books.
I'm about 11 years gym age, just shifted over to strength training about 5 months ago and mostly specialized in a DL program (Crain's) while my bench and squat suffered in the meantime. Working up squats seems to have suffered my DL a little, and the bench is not getting back to my old numbers either.
I'm 56, 217, 5'11", about 18% bf (and fine with it), well-read in BB'ing and studying a lot now about PL'ing.
I don't need any "squat depth checks" or anything of the sort, but would like to know which of your books would be your recommendation. My problem is getting the bench and squat into the 4's and the DL into the 5's before deciding to compete (RAW, Classic) next year.
This is providing I don't lose too much time to my new pacer install, back trouble I tend to ignore, a hundred aches and pains, and working inconsistently (construction). But heck, that's just stuff.
Everybody needs a hobby.
