Mark,
Just wanted to get your take on this if any. I have a few athletes that have had this done with pretty good results from what I can tell. Most of these athletes have had PRP treatment on chronic problems in the shoulders, knees, and Achilles.

I give this link (http://www.orthohealing.com/plateletrichplasmatherapy-prp/) only because is gives a pretty good over view and provides links to case studies.

At any rate, maybe it's worth looking into for some of the folks on here.

Thanks for the service Mark, I'm looking forward to the March seminar in Tampa.

This is probably the most important sentence in this link:

"PRP is an emerging treatment in a new health sector"

Even the authors admit that the studies done to date are of limited value:

Unfortunately, most studies to date are anecdotal or involve
small sample sizes. Undoubtedly we are seeing increased
clinical use of PRP, however more clinical trials are certainly
needed. Little is documented in the literature
regarding the expected timeframe of tendon healing post-
PRP injection. Also, there are no studies to date that review
the need of post-PRP injection rehabilitation, nor are there
any protocols.

This may or may not be a promising treatment, but it is certainly not mainstream, at least not yet anyway.

I understand this. I've seen quite a few folks with chronic problems for years get some really good results with it, of course this is only according to the individual.

I have no idea whether this is good or bad. Just wanted to put it out there and see what people have to say about it, what other people's experiences may be with it, and give some folks on here with chronic issues something else to educate themselves on.

And my elbow feels really good.

Good for you. Unfortunately, hard to base a study off of 1 person.
