Mark, I am on a layoff starting Nov 6th and will most likely end on January 30th due to vasectomy problems and subsequent surgery. Which program will get me back to pre layoff levels the quickest? I was doing sheiko when I quit. My numbers as I left off were
Bench 320
Squat 420
Deadlift 475.
Help please?

What is "sheiko"?

I'm sure someone has responded by now but Sheiko is a powerlifting-focused program (rather, a set of programs) that a lot of the much-maligned bb.com folks turn to when a persistent plateau interrupts progress or during competition prep.
The "comprehensive" link is this one: http://www.elitefts.com/sheiko/
If it's worth anything, my bench press was embarassing until I used the Sheiko prescription. I could clean, squat, and DL like an athlete but my bench press was pathetic. I ate like a hog and followed Sheiko and now have a bench press (and forearms) that make me look like an actual grown-ass man (272 1RM at 181 bw, three weeks ago). I know my bodyweight makes me manorexic around these parts, but I'm unapologetic... I'd stack my lifts up against folks with 20 lbs on me. I eat plenty big but I add mass very slowly.
As an aside, I know Link to be a great guy who helped me become strong so I want to send my best to him. He's a man of genuine character... not too many like him.

Boris Sheiko is a Russian Powerlifting coach. Here are some translations of his programs and books: http://www.elitefts.com/sheiko/
MISSINGLINK: Which program do you think will get you back to your numbers as quickly as possible? The one that has you progressing as quickly as possible. Unless I am missing something here, it should be linear progression.

due to vasectomy problems and subsequent surgery
Damn...just...sorry. The vas job is enough of a bummer on its own; I can't imagine the exponential bummer increase of having "problems" to go with it. Hang in there, man.
