I've been reading Bill Starrs blogs at The Tight Tan Slacks of Dezso Ban. I must say I only really read Starr's blogs. I've become quite a Bill Starr fan after finding out about him through my continual reference to SS and coach Rip's advice. The Strongest Shall Survive and Defying Gravity are a must own.
However there is so much more in his blogs I find useful.
Hey coach Rip, any word if Mr. Starr's gonna write a new book?

Bill does not blog. He does not post, tweet, or unfriend. He does not have a computer. The Tan Man is posting old articles, most likely without asking Bill. I say this because had he done so Bill would have mentioned it to me. But I may be wrong. I shall ask him soon.
I'd pay for a collection of Starr's old stuff honestly. Any new material would be icing on that cake.

I've been working on this a while. Trying to convince him to let me do it.

Jim Wendler let me borrow a collection of old articles that Dr. Ken put together for him, it was all the articles from Muscle Builder & Power in which Bill "Peanuts" West contributed to and some other powerlifters and heavy duty powerlifters
AMAZING STUFF I tell you.
I love the old stuff, those guys were strong as hell and their info is priceless!

I spoke w/Richard Sorin and he told me his first ever WL Coach was the guy who wore "tight tan slacks"
I forget the dude's name, but, there was a pic of him somewhere on that huge blog.
That Blog is a gem of great info.
Whoever is doing it is putting in A LOT OF TIME to post the articles.
Richard also didn't know about this Blog when I sent it his way.
Maybe Richard knows the name, is it Dezso Ban?

PS: a dude on e bay, mid city muscle, has a HUGE collection of vintage stuff, I snagged all the articles Dr.Ken wrote in muscular development from the 80's
I spoke w/the guy and he is now closing up shop, as rent in NYC was huge and he snagged a new storage warehouse
I could camp out in a vintage strength library like this reading and lifting....
This shit is in my blood!
Time for pancakes and milk..... have a great weekend :)

Iron Mind wants $266 for 21 Bill Starr articles. There has to be a better source.

Iron Mind has always been a bit pricey.

That blog is maintained by some someone who posts over at Power and Bulk, I think. Think his screen name is "Mighty Louse." I'd start there.
