Actually, not having to pay to play online probably helps him not be poor.

This game angers me sometimes. Some nights I have to really hold it together to get a 1:1 ratio. Other times I just roflcopter everyone. However, now that I have Pred Missile --> Harrier --> Pavelow I get amazing kill ratios; Scavenger and Claymores also boosted my ratio a lot. I went 30:6 yesterday!

Too bad I only have 4 more days to play, bah.

Right. And he can enjoy all the hackers, poor online connectivity, and late DLC for the game as well.

There are lots of perks to paying 60$ a year for the online service. For instance, Sony refused to ban any of the javelin glitchers before the first patch.
