There's two things I love: adolescent male humor and high protein breakfasts. If you're in the same boat, try this:

1) Separate five egg whites in a bowl. Have one whole egg ready.
2) Pour whites into a heated, oiled skillet/sautee pan.
3) Crack whole egg into the middle of the pan.

Then you just heat and let time do its work. The result is a huge white surrounding a small, single yolk. It's like a Tyrannosaurs abortion for your mouth!

what a waste of good egg yolks.
my version is have 6 eggs.
Crack 6 eggs in bowl
add cheese
add splash of milk
mix
pour in pan.
cook and eat.

I thought this was going to be a post about those malted milk balls with candy shells that are speckled and look like dinosaur eggs. :(

And yeah it's a waste of yolks though it probably looks cool

I see the humorectomy was a smashing success.

You guys ever try ostrich eggs? One can feed 4 average people, I believe.

There's an ostrich farm near here, I'd love to try an ostrich omelette. Can't really justify the price atm though, they're way more expensive than the equivalent hen eggs. :P

I was hoping this was about how awesome it would be to eat an actual dinosaur egg. I wonder what the protein and calorie amounts would be for a t-rex egg...

Why would anyone leave out the yolks? They're the best part.

Ostrich eggs (size equivalent to many sauropod eggs) can be had at Rooster Cogburns' Ostrich Farm near Picacho Peak between Pheonix and Tucson AZ. Their website is down due to bandwidth restrictions. I was wrong on the number you can feed with one egg. They claim a dozen people.

What's that you say? You're a fan of archeology...right here on the bottom shelf you might recognize this as a Tyrannosaurus Rex egg. There's only 2 of these left in the world. Each of these bitches is four million year old a piece son, god damn, rare. Very hard to find, and I happen to have both of them. (CRACK) Wooo-weeee, that smells wild!
