Please excuse the silly head turning - I was checking the mirror (which is just above the camera) to see if I had good lumbar extension. At one point, I did this under load, and I felt it in my neck for a few minutes, so no more of that.

I'm sorry but I can't see shit. Why are you so little in this video?

He's so little because he hasn't eaten enough. Eat more and you will expand the video size...
Your deads look fine. Nice and solid once your pull begins.

Possible reasons:
1. camera angle, camera is on the floor, so the plates look relatively larger compared to me, than they would if the camera was at waist level
2. distance between camera and subject
3. video taken with camera vertically oriented, so it needed to be rotated
4. I'm currently about 145lbs

Ugh, are those hexagonal plates?

Yeah, that's why I'm doing 5x1 instead of 1x5. I've seen guys in my gym doing deadlifts for reps, but even for the guys who set up with good position on the first rep, they usually get out of place on subsequent reps because the bar has moved at an angle due to the non-circular plates.

Looks good dude. Do you feel the bar hit your knees on the way down? I don't want to cast doubt in your form, it looks as if you do from that angle.

No, it doesn't, but I do worry about that (since my knees are fucked enough already without dropping a loaded bar on them), which is why I lower the bar pretty slowly until it clears my knees, and then I lower it much more quickly.

I started DLing with those, and only recently got the chance to switch. Happiest day of my life.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Hopefully in the near future, I'll be back with a 225lb form check.
