I've been told that yoguhurt is a lot more friendlier to the stomach than milk, and is a good subsititute for milk as part of gomad.

WHat are your thoughts on that?t?

you should take a break from the yoghurt. you've had enough already.

Is this a sexual euphemism? Because if it is, it's pretty funny.

THere is no substitution for milk. If you can't drink it, then get calories from some where else, but realize it won't have the same affect. From the pictures I've seen of you, you need to eat everything that isn't nailed down.

Unless you have lactose problems yoghurt is stupid. It costs too much and generally takes longer to consume.

Yogurt doesn't have as much protein, but has more carbs than milk. Plus it's not as awesome as milk, think yogurt = skinny health freak, think milk = old school strongman

Greek Yoghurt = more protein. Less expensive if you buy a box of 12 someplace like Sams Club.

Chobani Greek Yogurt = tons of protein and delicious. It will make you huge and strong (if you drink a gallon of milk along with it).

Isn't this what you're really saying...

Family members who know nothing about training and fuckall about gomad want me to cut down my milk intake.

I hope someone here can justify this, because I'm startin' to melt under the pressure.

So...maybe if you pay for the milk yourself

they'll back off a little bit

yogurt has less lactose so may be easier to digest. When I go home for the holidays my mom makes yogurt for me in 1gallon batches. She uses skim milk, doesn't add extra milk powder, so her yogurt is a drinkable consistancy. I buy 5kg buckets of yogurt at costo from time to time and mix it with fruit juice to thin it out.

Have you tried lactase supplements?

Look at the nutrition information. Commercial yoghurt varies greatly in terms of composition. Substitute according to rough protein and calorie content.

I'm not a huge yogurt fan, but if you are, I believe it' quite easy to make your own yogurt by applying a little yogurt to milk. You have to boil the milk first so that the bacteria from the yogurt don't have other bacteria to compete with.

Greek protein is mostly fat, not so much protein.

I currently buy a fairly thick natural yoghurt in bulk. It is slightly less fatty/creamy than greek yoghurt, perhaps 4% fat.

Anyhow, it contains 6g protein per 100ml. Which is the same as an egg. I have about 200ml at a time for snacks, 12g protein per go is a pretty decent amount I think.

Chobani is actually 0% fat and still quite creamy. I don't know how they do that.

That is not normal/traditional greek yoghurt. It must be heavily processed and have additives to be 0% fat and still be thick.

I cant be bothered to read how its made, but I really like high fat yoghurts, they are delicious, almost like eating cream but less greasy.

The Chobani ingredients look to be all normal and natural. Maybe good to include with the last meal of the day if you're trying JP's stuff. 16 grams of protein isn't too shabby.
