I was wondering if there is a book or website that contains the details on various kinds of food. Calories, Grams of Protein, Carbs, Fat, etc for say a piece of bread or an orange or ???

I think livestrong.com has a pretty good site for that kinda stuff. It will even let you enter your goal (eg. gain 2 pounds/week), height, weight, and exercise level, and give you an estimate of calories needed to reach your goal.

Go to upper RH corner of page and enter the food you are interested in, e.g. "whole milk".

I've always used www.fitday.com for figuring out my macros and other nutrients. There is another one called www.thedailyplate.com that works, as well.

Thanks for the great links. I'm 6 weeks into SS and believe I need a closer handle on my nutrition.
