After doing crossfit for the past 3 years on and off and tinkering with other types of training without much improvement in any one thing, I decided to stop fucking around and get strong. Eventually I want to get into Olympic Weightlifting, but I think getting strong past the novice phase is first in order.

I am currently:
30yo
5'11'' 225#

My life time best lifts are
Squat: 270
Bench:190
Deadlift: 365
Press: 135
Clean: 200
Snatch: 155

I am coming off a back injury from work, so I decided to start off light. first training day back.

Used a belt on worksets to see what it felt like, pretty uncomfortable. Definitely made the lifts easier though. Back is feeling great.

Pre-workout protein shake helped a lot. Squats are going great! The belt helps make the primary focus hip drive, which is the point, right? Loving this shit
