What do you all eat pre workout?
Do you do a certain ratio of carbs to protein? Do you stick to just protein? Do you stick to just carbs? Any why?
What type of protein? What type of carbs? And why?

50 views and no responses? does anyone eat before they workout?
I go for a quart of whole milk about an hour before lifting. It provides a good number of calories for energy, and gets processed pretty quickly so I don't feel full during the workout. Sometimes I'll eat about a tablespoon or so of butter along with the milk.
I tried fruit and juices pre-workout, but the plain carbs left me feeling weak.

I usually train at ten in the morning. As such, I just eat my regular breakfast when my 5 and 3 year old jump on me in the mornings demanding to be fed. Regular breakfast includes 3 or 4 eggs over medium, 2 slices of whole wheat buttered toast, a glass of milk and as much coffee as it takes to get the motor running.
Really though, I think this is just one of those personal preference things. As for your specific questions, you'd be better off asking someone more knowledgeable than me about it. I think there even might be a specific forum for nutrition related questions.... ;)
BTW, be sure to make use of the search function... this type of thing might have already been covered before.

I just make sure I'm full all day with a mix of protein grains and good amount of veg and of course my stomach usually has a quart of milk in it at any one time. I can lift on a full stomach no problem unlike sprints or conditioning.

I have my breakfast, do some quick house chores and then hit the gym.
If I get hungry during that time I eat yoghurt. Yoghurt doesnt leave me feeling full/bloated.

I wake up at 5am to hit the gym. So I prepare breakfast the night before.
Oatmeal + whey + coffee + blended with a hand blender.
