I've seen the vid, and Charles did in fact do it. It was pulled from the floor with his arms, but after extension and the shrug, it was let go of, flew up, and racked with no hands.

Charles can only do this lift after tarot readings and certain other unmentionable rituals. When he's in this state, photography does not capture him. So all you will see is the bar moving through space.

But if you squint and look closely, you see Phil Stevens and an assistant lifting the ends of the bar, under the cloak of smoke darkness. ;)

No, just having elbows high enough that hands were not necessary to rack it on the shoulders I would have thought.

THen how do you get it off the ground? If you grab it with your hands, it isn't a no hand clean.

I'm pretty sure that if Mr.Staley says he did it, he did it. No video required.

Some people around here have that kind of cred. and he is one of them...

I've accidentally cleaned 320 in the no handed manner as described by Mr. Staley before. I even was able to get my hands back on it and attempt a jerk which went miserably.
