I have a meet next Saturday (1 week from today) and I looked up what I should be doing for this week, some say taper training, some say don't train at all, so I don't really know what to do.

What should I do this week?

What kind of meet? What has your training been like for the last, say, quarter?

If you're on the SS novice progression and work out MWF, train Monday, work up to your openers on Wednesday (maybe not in the DL depending on how you recover), and hit the competition on Saturday. Figure your openers should be maybe 10% above your work sets on Monday, but it's better to be conservative. This is very rough. If you're more advanced than a novice, you should've asked this question a little further out. The idea is to keep yourself fresh and not lose strength, but not be rusty. You won't gain strength the week of a meet.

It's a full powerlifting meet, I've been on Texas method for the last couple months, I've hit all the numbers I intend to hit, except my deadlift (going for 450, I've done 445), So should I do 3x5 SQ, 3x5 BP and 1X5 DL Monday, and work to my openers Wednesday?

Not if you're on the TM. You probably wouldn't recover from deadlifts on time, but you know your recovery from deadlifts better than we do. Here's KSC's advice for somebody who's on Madcow 5x5, adapt it to your own needs: http://startingstrength.com/resources/forum/showthread.php?p=110412 You may want to consider another light workout in there, emphasis on light. Like, just the warmup sets that you would do for the meet.

Okay, I actually recover very well from deads, but KSC's layout there looks pretty good, and along with one more light workout should be great, thanks for the help.
