Okay, two from Rorschach's favorite news source.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1285059/Fed-father-fights-drug-gang-neighbours-arrests-notorious-dealer.html I have read a lot of articles like this, where the local police stand by and tell the subject to just put up with it, but as soon as the subject knocks down the criminal, the police show up in spades. I don't believe all UK police are this way, but there certainly seems to be a tendency among some to hide behind procedures. The US way, in which a bunch of special ops wannabes called a SWAT team blow their way into the wrong house at 0300 and shoot the family pets, doesn't have much to commend it, either. BTW, kudos to that father, he's got a big brass pair.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1285042/Tragedy-woman-struck-killed-lightning-just-minutes-boyfriend-proposed.html Anybody else read this and immediately think of Wilde's comment, One must have a heart of stone to read the death of little Nell without laughing?

None of that is worthy to be deemed "national news".

LOL, the drug dealer had 3-4g of cocaine and meth... LOL

I first didn't realise it was g, I thought it was kg.. g is just peanuts.. Seriously I have like 5g creatine and it's less than a teaspoonful.

These tiny measurements would normally be regarded as "personal use" i imagine.

I hate the daily mails trend of playing heroes and villians, and misrepresent the facts. I just don't trust this paper.

The stories are just put together so they can represent some "good white working class people" sufferring at the hands of or being victorious against dirty immigrants/terrorists/paedophiles.

Also many pictures of z-list soap opera actors dressed as schoolgirls in their underwear*

*of course no way fodder to the paedophiles they like to lynch mob

Tiger, he was on parole so any amount is significant and I don't think that there's much leaway for "personal use" meth and coke... not like pot.

As I see it, the criminal got exactly what he deserved and the vigilante did a great job of serving it up to him.
