I was wondering if my diet is good or not, and wanted to know what some members eat in a normal day. Please state what program you're currently on, and some strength totals to help clarify.

Damn, you people eat like animals! In a good way!
When I'm working out, which lately I have not been, I usually eat:
AM - whey protein shake (GNC Isowhey 28, plain) with about 16oz 1% milk, a banana, and about 1/2 cup frozen berries; almond butter and honey sandwich (Trader Joe's almond butter with flax seeds is delicious!)
Snack - Balance Bare bar or about 8oz yogurt with mixed nuts and raisins. I also usually snack on the nuts & raisins throughout the day.
Lunch - burrito or bowl from Chipotle, or a double cheeseburger
Afternoon snack - apple, then either the bar or yogurt, whichever I didn't eat in the AM
Later afternoon snack - whey protein and 16oz. milk
Dinner - varies, but usually a large portion of pasta or some sort of grain with a mix of veggies, and a chicken breast-sized portion of meat
Post workout - whey protein and 16oz milk
Before bed - sometimes some cottage cheese, if I feel manly
I can't fuckin' wait to start lifting again.

When I have no complications, a good work day will likely look very similar to this (I am borderline autistic in my preference for routine, so things rarely vary that much)
5.00 - pot of coffee, morning ablutions followed by pre workout smoothie on the way to the gym (2 cups of frozen fruit, a banana, 40-50g whey protein, 5g creatine)
Workout
7.30 - pint of 2% fat milk, bagel and 4 egg whites on drive home
10.30 - 2 whole eggs plus 3 whites, 2 cups of skim milk and approx 2 cups of high fiber cereal
2 - 1 cup (dry) oatmeal, 1 pint of sugar sweetened 1% fat milk (get it from work and figure its free calories so add it to the oats rather than plain water), 30g whey protein
5 - steak and whatever veggies I have in the house served with liberal coating of olive oil (some combination of 2 from garlic sauteed spinach, grilled tomatoes, steamed baby carrots and broccoli)
8.30 - 1 cup cottage cheese with a no sugar low fat yoghurt
10 - ZMA and bed

I'm on a modified Paleo type diet and a typical day would include,
AM1 - Protein Shake with whole milk and instant coffee, apple or berries
AM2 - 5 eggs
Lunch1 - 8oz of some sort of meat and veggie
Lunch2 - Training - Protein shake with whole milk and some fruit
Lucnh2 - Non Training - 8oz meat
Dinner - Training - Meat/Veggies/Carbs to satiety
Dinner - 8oz meat and veggies
By 8oz of meat I mean something like 2 chicken breasts or lots of meatballs or lots of ground turkey/beef or 2 pork chops or etc... I don't actually measure this shit, I just down it like a man.
I'm on a Texas Method/linear progression/rehab split.
I'm down to 272 from like 288 in about a month. The weightlifting belt is already down a notch. Booya.

On a program very similar to SS. 6'0", 185 lbs.
I usually just try to figure out how much food and protein I should eat that day, and eat it. I don't have a regimented diet.
Example:
Wake up, eat 4-6 eggs fried in butter.
Eat lunch, some kind of meat. Say two chicken breasts, or a pound of liver. I sometimes skip this.
Scarf trail mix. Maybe 1-2 cups worth.
Dinnertime: some kind of meat and vegetables. No starchy carbs, I'm about to get plenty, since:
I've forgotten to fill up my calorie/protein quota. I drink 2-3 bags of whole milk (that's 11-17 cups). I sit and drink milk at max speed until I have to sleep.
As you can tell, my diet isn't really regimented. I lean pretty hard on trail mix and milk, which make up most of my calories. I balance it out with some kind of meat and veggie. It works really well.

Breakfast: tends to be around 200g of white/lean meat, two eggs along with 50g of dry oatmeal and a tbsp of Peanut butter
Lunch: non work days this is usually my postworkout meal - a lot of lean meat along with veggies and some kinda starchy carb
Dinner: Whatever my mum cooks, usually a big ass meal such as meat and potatoes or chicken pasta etc
Before bed I tend to eat more meat with a veggie/salad source and a decent amount of fat
Days im working I have a smaller dinner, but balance it out with a snack in the afternoon and a whey shake after the gym
I eat around 3000-3200ish cal a day, might need to bump this up soon
I'm doing SS and I'm 6'0" or 6'1" (depending) weighing in at 234 right now, up from 228 about 4 weeks ago.
Breakfast: 5 scrambled eggs, 5 pcs turkey bacon, 5 or 6 oz steak, 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal
Mid-morning snack: 2 1/2 chicken breasts, apple
Lunch: 2 chicken breasts, 2 tortillas, apple
Mid-afternoon snack: protein shake w olive oil
Dinner: 2 to 3 steaks, broccoli, green beans
Before bed snack: Protein shake
I usually eat steaks for breakfast dinner, sometimes I'll do ground beef or pork chops instead but my dad is in the cattle business so free red meat for me, it's pretty awesome. Most of the time I eat more than this but this is pretty typical. I eat what the hell I want on Saturday which used to consist of cookies, brownies and other sweets but I'm kinda tired of the gut feeling like shit after so I keep it moderately clean.

I just gained 45 lb in 3 months - I did that by eating something like this:
08:00: 7 fried eggs with olive oil on it and some mixed fruits
10:00: 1 liter of whole chocolate milk
12:00: protein shake and some fruit (pre-workout)
13:00: protein shake and some fruit (post-workout)

20:00: 1 liter of whole chocolate milk
21:00: a big plate of chicken and rice with olive oil
22:00: protein shake and fruit
It worked, but I got a little too fat, so I changed my diet a couple of days ago. Still eating a ton of food, but only healthy stuff.

I don't see alot of bread in this thread.
Do you guys think it's not usefull for lifters to eat bread?
For me its a convenient way to carry meat with me.

A little bit of bread is fine, ie a slice in the morning or around training, but too much and you'll get fat unnecessarily, ie you can be less calories than you expend and still get fat.
My diet
10 scrambled eggs 2 slices of bacon 100g cheese/ omeletey half scambled and chopped red onions.
Apple and water.
Snack pint of milk and a pear.
Lunch- can of tuna
Snack pint of milk+ some corned beef in a bun of lettuce, mayo and tomato
Dinner - whatever usually some sort or roast or sausages with veg like brocoli and cauloflower and carrots.
Also I sometimes help my self to a biscuit or a packet of crisps after and before my workout usually.

In the States we call carrying meat between 2 slices of bread a 'sandwich'. :D
