The above post is what happens when you reach the end of the internet early at work.

I think the money is in building your down-line. Then you pretty much just have to fill book and supplement orders. You won't even have to exercise yourself as your down-line will do it for you.
It's proven to be effective.

Yeah buddy.

The thing that impressed me the most (after I finished laughing) was how incredibly affective the program must be for MAKING MONEY. It has all the classic trappings of a cult or a pyramid scheme, yet people are clearly eating this stuff up. Seriously, it's a sad fact, but a fact none the less, the fitness industry is making some people wildly rich despite the reality (or lack there of) they're presenting... I might even go so far as to say that in the long run this will make more than @Fit because people are more inclined to drop $300 to become "certified" opening the program to a larger investment base. Pluss it seems that this guy continues to sell product after the seminar (although I'm sure there's significant drop off in customer base over time regarding his other products).

Econ/Business/Management majors: If you're on this board and you're not using this for a study at some point in your degree you're missing an easy topic.

Tiger,

So is going to the bar. WHen you decide to do something, you need to know why you are doing it.

I go to the bar to get some serious drinking done. I can't let women interfere with that.

As a wannabe sprint cyclist, I tried out a few spinning classes. I was the only one actually "spinning", everyone else, even the instructors just treated them like an exercise bike. Spinning is when you acheive the absolute maximum cadence/RPM for a fixed gear. Like when you top out on a track bike, you reach the fastest speed your legs can move.

But no one seemed to understand this, all the classes ive been to are treated as moderate intensity, 45 minute endurance exercise.

Actual spinning, is a useful thing to train. A just like short sprints & downhill "overspeed" running.

This brings up an interesting point, how much would it take to completely sell out?

I was once faced with this question, and made a decision that I am positive I wouldn't have made now, some 15 years later

I would never sell out. I back all my comments with the gzt guarantee.

How much to sign on and get certified with your Keeping It Real(TM) program?

gzt

There's a weekend seminar for it, then you're a certified L1 gzt commenter. You can put on your resume or bio that you have a gzt comment cert at that point. If you affiliate with gzt, that's an annual fee, then you can advertise and list yourself as gzt affiliate and use the gzt brand.

Fuck it, I'll give you $10,000 for the whole deal. I'm going to be so legit it's going to hurt. Bad.

Oh, I get it. Your referencing CF. Yeah, thats funny stuff, cause there aren't enough people that make easy CF references for laughs.

I'm sorry, that was the gin talking.

It seemed the most appropriate way to roll off of his comment. If you're not satisfied with my patented gzt-brand comments, you can return them for a full refund.

Not really.

They have adverts for these sorts of classes on the tv at the gym I go to. Just listening to them annoys me, I can't imagine 45 minutes of a peppy, upbeat cheerleader telling me what to do especially when I've worked myself to near exhaustion.

I checked their class locater, they are doing this in the splashy new Gold's Gym in my area.
I haven't been there but I hear from a friend that they've got a full theater or something in there too.

I hope they are showing the World Cup in that Theater. You gotta have something to watch while you exercise, and seeing proper athletes in action might provide some extra motivation.

I am relegated to a Gold's currently... It sucks extra because I was hoping to start weightlifting competitoins at some point and the people at Gold's have asked me numerous times not to drop my 80k Cleans any more as it damages the faux wood flooring.

Outside of the obvious problem of not having bumpers it's not too awful, they don't bother me about my chalk use, no one is ever using the Squat rack other than my training partner, people leave me well enough alone, and they keep their music low enough that I don't hear it.
