Hey all. I have acquired 11 Jean-Claude Van Damme movies....so it's going to be a FAAAANTASTIC weekend.
What is your favorite Van Damme movie and why? Don't feel limited to his movies as the thread title indicates!

I miss the tough-muscular action heroes of the 80's (jvcd, Arnie ect). These days action heroes seem to have been struck by the 90's small disease.
Would have loved to see the upcoming Thor or Captain America films star guys who actually look about the same size as in the comics. But nope, apparently biceps and a 6-pack is all you need these days.

Invasion U.S.A. - Chuck Norris catches evil Russian terrorist, should kill him, but doesn't because of orders. Russian terror guy has nightmares of Chuck Norris killing him, plans on terrorizing the U.S.A., but decides that he should probably kill Chuck Norris first. Chuck Norris does not die. Russian terror group has numbers in the 1,000's. (SPOILER ALERT) Chuck Norris kills all the Russian terrorists with nothing but a black vest, backless and fingerless leather gloves, and 2 submachine guns.
Silent Rage - Sheriff Chuck Norris fights with dude after a domestic disturbance call, dude runs away, gets shot bunch of times. Dead dude goes to the hospital where crazy doctors shoot him with magic juice. Now dead dude can't speak, but also can't die. (SPOILER ALERT) Chuck Norris kills the zombie dude that will not die.
The Octagon - Chuck Norris has flashbacks from when his buddy got killed in action. Chuck Norris stumbles upon The Octagon, a group of terrorist Ninja hell bent on taking over the world. Chuck Norris finds out terror Ninjas are same guys that killed his buddy. (SPOILER ALERT) Chuck Norris kills all terror Ninjas.

Since the question is what was my favourite JCVD movie then bloodsport wins no question.
80's action movies were cool. Anything with Arnie, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris then there were movies like Roadhouse, Mad Max, Lethal weapon, Aliens (sci-fi action).

I used to be hella hooked on the Arnold shit. Terminator, Commando, Red Heat, Total Recall, Predator...good stuff. I don't really mind the smaller action heroes of late, though. Really, if ass is getting kicked and shit is blowing up and there's some intrigue or something, it works for me. The Bourne movies, for example, totally rocked, although they're in kind of a different realm from the '80s action classics, with more than just brawny destruction as there rayzon detruh.

Kickboxer.
Bloodsport is a classic..but I love the villain Tong Po better then Chung Li.
"you bleed like maleen...maleen good fu**"
Plus the scene when his instructor gets him drunk and whips everyone is funny...JCVD pants in full effect.

You forgot Conan The Barbarian...

Though not a behemoth but still believable, is Tom Berenger in the mid 90's Sniper series... I think the producers may have taken a few 'dramatic licenses,' but the premise was still pretty spot-on.

Funny, I think I only ever saw part of Conan for some reason. Never went back for it, despite trying to view every single other one of Ahnold's flicks. I haven't seen the Sniper series--may have to check Netflix.

Why thank you. The funnier thing is that I usually know the difference between "there" and "their," so maybe I am as dumb as I pretend to be. Hiding my stupidity is my rayzon detruh.

Since this apparently has evolved into a Chuck Norris thread, some random facts:
When Chuck Norris gives you the finger, he's telling you how many seconds you have left to live.
Someone once tried to tell Chuck Norris that roundhouse kicks aren't the best way to kick someone. This has been recorded by historians as the worst mistake anyone has ever made.
The grass is always greener on the other side. Unless Chuck Norris has been there; then it is soaked with blood and tears.

Damn! The Natural and Minotauro in one movie? I hope it doesn't blow chunks, which it probably will, but maybe I'll watch it anyway.

Scientists just calculated the amount of force produced during Andy Bolton's 1008# deadlift. It is equal to 1/4 of a Chuck Norris Roundhouse kick.

Why do you think they dropped the bomb on Hiroshima in WWII?
Because it was more humane than the alternative...

Lone Wolf McQuade -Texas Ranger Chuck Norris does things his way, which makes him a Lone Wolf. Chuck Norris hates guns and drugs. There's a guy that loves guns and drugs, Chuck Norris finds out and starts hating him. Chuck Norris goes in all "Lone Wolf" and gets his buddy killed. Now you are in big trouble son, you shouldn't have revealed his true identity!
And btw, have you heard the cue: when you deadlift you should think of pushing the ground with your feet? Well when Clark deadlifts, the bar doesn't move, earth does...
