I figure it can't hurt to ask this; does anyone in Wichita Falls have a couch I can sleep on during the July 9-11 seminar at WFAC? I would be more than willing to pay for groceries and/or chop wood, carry water, etc. I realize that only a handful of people on this board are actually in Wichita Falls, so hopefully this post will fall under the eyes of the right people.

I also know that some people here will vouch that I am not a crazy serial killer/rapist.

Yours in 70sbigness,
Jake

You can always sleep on the platform out back or put up a tent in Rip's lot next to the gym.

I am amazed that I didn't think of this, considering that I'm a Jew. Thank you.

It has been extremely cool here lately.
No guarantees on next week though.

He's a Jew, he's used to the heat. Just make sure he doesn't wander off.

Into the Desert. To eat locusts, which are FREE.

Just want to make sure that I'm actually allowed to sleep on the platform. It would be kind of awkward if I showed up at WFAC with a collapsible tent in my bag for no reason. Unfortunately I do not have a collapsible grill.

Rip, after everything I've heard about Texans' devotion to meat, I would have to be crazy to be a miser on food while in WF.

Also, locusts are actually kosher. Scorpions, however, are not.

There is already a grill out back.

Hey Jacob,

Have you ever heard of the site http://www.couchsurfing.com?

You can stay on people's couches for free. I know it sounds sketchy but it is actually legit.

I used it when I attended Rip's seminar in Melbourne, Florida in January. It worked out great. I had a fantastic host who not only let me stay in a private room in his house for free, he also took me out and showed me around and payed for everything. I ended up saving about $150 that I instead would have spent on a shitty hotel/motel room for the weekend.
