Hello, this log is just a continuation of my log in the old Grippermania. I've just started doing pinch again, both 1 hand and 2 hand using different widths. I'm giving sledge, tearing and other wrist work a bit of a break whilst my elbow heals up. Grippers and pinch don't seem to affect it though.

No Set Grippers: warm up then
R: #2x4, #1.5x15
L: #1.5x7, #1x14
1 hand pinch:
R: 40lb x 6
L: 40lb x 6
(nice and comfortable - the one hand pinch sets not to failure)
Wide (94mm) 2 hand pinch: 2 x old Samson 50lb plates
105lb x 1 (toughish but solid single)
(the Samson 50s weigh 53 ? 54lbs each - I'm calling them 52.5)
Nice, what happened to your elbow?

Hi Phil, I'm pretty sure it started from doing heavy power cleans, and combined with weighted pull ups. But it also happened at the same time I strained my right rear delt maxing out on (believe it or not!) wrist curls. So I'm not really sure of the exact cause, but it might be ulnar nerve impingement. Anyway, it's certainly getting a lot better now and whilst still no upper body (except rehab) for a while, grip work is fine. (sledge levering might have had some contribution, but again, I'm not sure)
