Are they still around? Who makes them and what are the specs?

Thanks,
Matt

- they must be somewhere! I think they're just RB narrows or BBs with narrow handles. I don't know the exact specs though. The GM5 is a RB330N iirc.

I don't know the exact specs but I have a rough idea.
GM1: SM spring 2 1/8" Spread 1/16" Mounting (I think?)
GM2: Elite Spring (not sure of the other stuff)
GM3: Grand Elite Spring (no sure of the other stuff)
GM4: RB300N
GM5: RB330N
Not sure if they're still around though

Would they be for sale?

Are certs still being done? Or is that completely over? If not and by chance you are selling them I'm definitely interested.

Haha, the only reason I know GM1 is because I have a replica, the others I just remember the spring type.

AHH so that is where the replica wound up

That could happen, I am no longer the owner of the board so I would have to discuss it with the big man

I just got a replica from Weightlifters Warehouse, so I don't think I have the one you're talking about.
Keep us updated on news with the certs or whatever. Thanks.

George, if you aren't doing certs anymore, I'd be interested in buying the GM1. I rated it about a 2.2 and could use it for OC work for LH and, having gained some crush strength finally  think I could TNS it RH now.

The GM1 should be with Chris Rice if you don't have it. I sent it him for his Gripmas contest.

As you may recall from a couple of years ago, the original GM1 (the easy one that was little harder than a good 1.5) was never returned by Dennis Barna of Florida whom we feared had some unfortunate real life issues.

If you read this, Dennis, I hope life find you well now.

I think it would be great to keep the certs going.

Me too - The GM certs are unique: no set but using the narrower spread grippers.
