I did heavy squats yesterday (3 sets of 5). Nothing hurt while I was doing them or afterwards. About 7 hours later I felt a burning sensation at the top of my left leg about 4 inches down from the acatebellum and about 2 inches over (closer to the groin). There is a lump/swelling about the size of small marble (maybe a bit smaller) there and it is painful. It is only mildly painful and I think I would still be able to do squats today if I was supposed to.

Does this sound like it could be a muscle tear or strain or maybe just an infected lymph node?

Thank you.

It could be either of those or even other things, but good news is, it doesn't sound like an orthopedic issue. I'd look for symptoms to gradually subside over the next several days, and if they don't see a doc
