Can I do clean and press to practice both the power clean and oh press??
in the power clean my #1 problem is the wrists and elbow position ..
when I shrug the bar and rest it on my shoulders, the only way for me to be able to keep the elbows up is to let my pinky go off the bar and just use 3 fingers + thumb to hold it
It's odd but I have oddly shaped hands with shorter pinkies and I just realized that could be the reason I have problems keeping the elbows up
In the OH press the issue is the bar path , during my off day
I took the initiative to practice with little weight (50%) both press and clean by doing the clean and press, I figure since I am already with the bar on my shoulders might as well press it OH and be done with it ..
